Working Hours
Each registered candidate will have to work 5-6 hours a day to complete the tasks assigned to them. This will also includes 1 hour of training session per day. We follow a 5 day week plan.
Training Methodology
The project training will be divided in 4 phases -
- Sessions to work on Basic Concepts related to your project.
- Assignment of tasks and research papers to collect maximum data related to your project.
- Working on different tools for result interpretation and validation.
- Report writing and Presentation making.
List of Project Topics
We present a list of 20 project topics below. These topics are well researched and meet the current industry needs. Candidates can select individual projects to work or can work in groups of two.
- Comparison and Analysis of Existing Promoter Prediction tools and their algorithms
- Molecular Armamentorium and Chemical Library Synthesis
- Microarray Data Analysis using Clustering techniques and related Microarray Data Analysis Tools
- Development of a Gene Prediction Model using HMM
- Prediction and Analysis of Gene-Gene (Protein-Protein) interactions
- Protein folding studies for structure prediction using computational approaches
- Analysis of Biochemical networks to engineer bacteria for increasing secretion and efficiency of lipases (Major research topic for Systems Biology)
- Analysis and Comparison of recent methods for SNP Genotyping (Includes study of latest technologies and software prevelant in the industry).
- Comparison of SYBR® Green real-time PCR with TaqMan PCR along with their design using Primer Design Software.
- Mutation Detection by Real-Time PCR and insilico primer design
- Testing for absence of secondary structure in combinatorial sets of DNA strands.
- Multiple digestion restriction site mapping using various Bioinformatics Software.
- Deciphering the cis-regulatory logic of coregulated genes
- A multiple-feature framework for modeling and predicting transcription factor binding sites
- Identification of key pathways that support the survival of the infectious agents involved in their pathogenesis.
- Analysis of different metabolic pathways through Systems Biology tools.
- Analysis of Protein biomarkers via SELDI-TOF technology
- Microarray data analysis using Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA)
- Analysis of Protein microarray for sensitive and effective immunodetection for drug residues
- Prediction of function of a protein by its phylogenetic distribution.
Note : After the completion of project you will have to submit a copy of your project report along with a power point presentation to Biointelligence for record purpose. (mandatory)
Certification
Once the project is completed we would be providing you with a certificate for the project training. We would also assist in posting your resume to corporate sector and the bioinformatics research sector by means of our wide network of contacts. This would help you to get established as a bioinformatics professional.
